IMPORTANT INSURANCE INFORMATION
During your travels, if you are in need of medical testing and/or treatment, please make sure you receive a receipt(s) with the following information. This will make it more efficient to file a claim with your insurance company when you return home.
- Date(s) the Service(s) was performed
- Service Provider Information. Location, Physician Contact Information, etc.
- Services Received (As detailed as possible)
- Medical Descriptions and Codes
- Cost for each service provided and grand total
- Additional information (if available) on reasons for the treatment
If you do not have travel insurance that covers the treatment, you may need to cover the expenses at time of service and file with your insurance company on your return. Check with your insurance to see your coverage.
If you have travel insurance and you are covered, it is still a good practice to get receipts for your records.
